Who has to be on site?

Geofencing stays on for everyone by default. Change the default here, or set it per person on the Employees tab, for trades that can’t report to a fixed site each day.

Identity checks, fake-GPS blocking and the GPS accuracy floor apply in both modes. “Roving” changes what is enforced, never what is recorded.

Expected hours

Used to flag late arrivals and to work out who was expected but never turned up. Nothing here changes recorded hours. Leave the start time blank and nobody is ever marked late.

The nightly job messages your Telegram group about shifts open longer than this. Set it above your longest normal shift.

Telegram alerts

Get a message in your company's own Telegram group the moment someone checks in or out — who, which site, what time, and how far from the site they were. Your bot and your group belong only to this workspace.

  1. Create a bot. In Telegram, message @BotFather, send /newbot, and copy the token it gives you.
  2. Add the bot to your company group as a member so it can post there.
  3. Paste the token below, type your group's chat ID, and press Save & connect. (Don't know the chat ID? Find my groups looks it up.)
Stored encrypted. Treat it like a password — anyone with it can post as your bot.
Optional — only if you don't know your group's chat ID. You can type it in on the right instead.
Type it in if you already know it — group IDs start with -100. For a public group you can use @yourgroupname instead. How do I find my chat ID?
Add @RawDataBot or @getidsbot to your group — it replies with the group's ID, then you can remove it. Or just press Find my groups on the left and OwlClock will read it for you.
Pick a site to give it its own group — that site's alerts then go there instead of the default.
Saves these settings and posts a confirmation message to the group.
